It’s the most wonderful time of the year! The Christmas season is upon us and we’re getting pretty excited over here. We love the trees, decorations, Christmas movies, and hot chocolate by the fire; but our least favorite is deciding on Christmas gift ideas for our loved ones! We have compiled a list of our favorite tech gift ideas to help ease some of your holiday stress and make this season of giving truly joyful.
Starting off our list at number one is the Google Home Mini. It is the obvious choice in that it is the most versatile gift and also won’t break the bank. It is a great family gift since adults and children alike can enjoy listening to music, ask google questions, find recipes, and even play games or bedtime stories. The Google Home Mini is a great introduction to making someone’s home “smart.”
Next up on the list are a pair of bluetooth earbuds. The Anker SoundCore Liberty Air 2 earbuds are our favorite headphones. They are a great alternative to AirPods because they are half the price with the same look. These earbuds are noise cancelling and hold a charge for up to 20 hours. The stylish charging case and price tag of about $80 make these a great tech gift.
Another great idea this season is Google’s Chromecast. Like the Google Home Mini, this device won’t empty your wallet and brings a lot of function by turning an older television into smart tv. You will be able to binge watch your favorite Disney+ movies, play video games, and surf the web thanks to this handy piece of tech!
Coming in at number 4 is the Kindle Paperwhite. This e-reader is a top seller on Amazon. It’s soft glare-free display reads just like paper and the newest design in now waterproof. The battery lasts for weeks and can store lots of your favorite reading material. These start at just $60 and go up depending on storage space and whether you choose the new waterproof design. Having had one of these for the last 6 years, it is one of my all-time favorite gadgets.
This gift at number 5 is pleasing to the wallet and your loved one RavPower 60W Desktop Charging Station. Perfect for family trips, you can charge multiple devices at once. The RavPower also comes equipped with quick charging 3.0, making quick work of your battery woes. This is another great buy with the USB-C version coming in at around $36!
Gift number 6 is a great tech gift for the hard worker in your life. The Anrri Blue Light Blocking Glasses protect the wearers eyes from harmful blue light emitted from illuminated screens like computers and phones, along with fluorescent lights in an office setting. This harmful light can be the cause of degrading eyesight and has even been known to be the root of migraines in people. While technically not a tech gadget; it’s a vital addition to any tech-lovers Christmas list.
Coming in at number 7 is the Cinemood projector. This gadget fits in your hand and is wireless so you can carry it anywhere. Simply sign in on your phone or tablet to your favorite streaming services or digital movie collection and the projector will play your favorites on the wall, ceiling, side of the house, anywhere you wish to watch TV. This is a pricier gift starting at $299 but it is so cool! This would be a big hit for any family!
This gift will be a favorite among your avid cleaners and moms. Gift number nine is iRobot Braava Jet 240 Superior Robot mop. This smart little robot mops for you, need I say more!? This gadget can wet mop, damp mop, or dry sweep the floors for you. Pretty much making all of your friends jealous. The iRobot Mop is a steal starting at $170.
This next tech gift idea is one for kids ages 3-12. Osmo is a hands-on learning game where the player uses real world objects to interact digitally on an iPad or Kindle Fire. There are lots of game packages and starter kits. The skills this technology promotes are coding, math, drawing, spelling, physics, spatial skills, and world geography. We are most excited about the coding and drawing games with Osmo! Starter kits that include the Osmo stand and red reflector needed to use the technology begin around $60 go up to $140, with additional games starting around $15. Parents will love this fun and educational tech gift!
Rounding out our list is the DJI Mavic Mini. Drones are all the rage today. And DJI is the leader in the best of the best with drones. This quality usually comes with a high price tag, but newly released Mavic Mini starts in a just $399. For an extra $100 you can get the Fly More Combo. This combo is worth significantly more than one Benjamin (The propeller guards alone will save you!), so we highly recommend it!
